Coming from a Windows Administrator background I had a relatively steep hill to climb when getting into Kubernetes, Cloud Native technologies, and Cloud. Many of the operating systems I work with now involve some sort of Linux and Linux concepts it required me to not only learn a brand new technology but also the platform it runs on. I don’t consider myself an expert within the Linux ecosystem however, by using Kubernetes, cloud, and Linux every day, I am able to practice to become more proficient and confident in my skills. While it is intimidating to start, the rewards are great.
